The Difference Between Services and Orders
Last Updated: 17 March 2026A clear explanation of the two ways to purchase link building through the LinkPanda App, and how service requests differ from order requests. The LinkPanda App gives you two distinct ways to commission link building: through the Services page for packaged offerings and managed retainers, or through the My Orders page for individual placement orders. Understanding the difference helps you choose the right route for your campaign. Services The Services page (accessible from the sidebar or the header menu) is where LinkPanda’s packaged link building products are listed. Services come in two types: Project One-time bundles with a fixed number of links and a set price per link. For example, a 5x High DR Link Insertion Service (DR50+) or a 10x Guest Post package. You choose the category, select a package, and click Send Enquiry. The LinkPanda team reviews your enquiry and follows up via your account email to confirm details and proceed. Retainer Ongoing monthly link building plans where a defined number of links are delivered each month on a recurring basis. For example, the Managed Link Building Core plan delivers 10 links per month at DR50+. Retainers are ideal for brands that want consistent, hands-off link building over time without placing individual orders each month. Services are enquiry-based. You do not place an order directly from the Services page. Instead, you send an enquiry and the team confirms everything with you before work begins. Orders The My Orders page is where you place and track individual link building placements. Each order is a direct submission for one or more specific link placements, which you specify yourself using the Order Now form. You select the placement type (Link Insertion, Guest Post, Listicle, Brand Mentions), choose or request a referring domain, and provide your anchor text and target URL. Orders are more granular than services. You are in direct control of which sites receive your links, what anchor text is used, and which pages on your website are targeted. Once submitted, orders appear on the Order Requests page and, once accepted by the team, move into active processing and appear in your My Orders list and LinkCard. Service Requests vs Order Requests Both routes involve a request stage before work begins, but they are tracked in different parts of the app. Service Requests When you click Send Enquiry on a service package, this creates a service request. It is tracked under My Services (accessed via the Services page), in the Requested Services section. Once the team has reviewed and confirmed your enquiry, it moves to Active Services. Once the service period or delivery is complete, it moves to Completed Services. Service requests are visible in the My Services panel only, not on the Order Requests page. Order Requests When you submit an order via the Order Now form, this creates an order request. It is tracked on the Order Requests page (accessible from the sidebar), under the Pending tab until the team reviews it. Once accepted, it moves to the Accepted tab and is then processed as an active order, appearing in My Orders and your LinkCard as links are placed. Order requests can be for a specific known site (Individual Site Request), an open brief for the team to source a site (New Site Request), or a batch of multiple placements (Bulk Order Request). Side-by-Side Summary Item Services Orders What it is A packaged product with a defined scope, quantity, and price. You browse and enquire via the Services page. An individual link building placement submitted directly via the Order Now form in My Orders. How you access it Services page in the sidebar or header menu. My Orders page via the Order Again or Order Now buttons, or the Buy Again tab. How you submit Click Send Enquiry on a service or package. The team replies to confirm and proceed. Fill in the Order Now form with placement type, site, anchor, and target URL, then click Submit Order. What it covers Bundled packages: 5x, 7x, or 10x links. Monthly retainer plans with ongoing delivery. Individual placements: one link per site request, though multiple can be batched in one order submission. Pricing Package pricing shown per link or per month. Confirmed by the team after enquiry. Per-link pricing based on DR tier. Visible before submitting in the order form. Where it is tracked My Services panel (Active, Requested, Completed). My Orders page and LinkCard. Request tracking My Services > Requested Services shows open enquiries awaiting team response. Order Requests page shows submitted order requests with Pending or Accepted status. Which Should You Use? Use Services if you want a predefined package with a fixed number of links and a clear scope, or if you want a hands-off monthly retainer where the team manages everything on an ongoing basis. Use Orders if you want to place individual placements where you control the specific referring domain, anchor text, and target URL. Orders give you the most direct control over each link in your campaign. Both routes are handled by the same LinkPanda team and all placements end up tracked in your LinkCard regardless of how they were initiated. Not sure which route to take? If you are new to LinkPanda or starting a new campaign, sending an enquiry via Services is a good first step. Your account manager can help you determine whether a package, retainer, or individual orders best suit your goals. Need Help? If you are unsure whether to use Services or Orders for your campaign, your account manager is your first point of contact. Their email is shown at the top of your LinkCard. Services Overview
Last Updated: 17 March 2026A guide to browsing, understanding, and enquiring about LinkPanda’s link building and SEO service packages. The Services page is where you can browse all of LinkPanda’s packaged link building and SEO services, view pricing tiers, and send an enquiry to get started. Services are organised into Projects (one-time packages) and Retainers (ongoing monthly plans). How to Access Services The Services page can be accessed in two ways: Click Services in the left sidebar navigation inside the app. Click Services in the top header menu, which is visible across all pages of the app. Browsing Services The Services page opens on the All Services tab, which lists every available service category. There are two additional tabs to filter the view: Projects: One-time packaged services with a defined number of links and a fixed price per link. Retainers: Ongoing monthly link building plans with a set number of links delivered each month. Each service category in the list shows the service name, a Project or Retainer badge, the number of available packages within that category, and a brief service type description. There is also a Send Enquiry button on each row for quick access. Expanding a Category Clicking the arrow on any service row expands it inline to reveal all the individual packages within that category. For example, expanding Link Insertions shows all six packages available, grouped by quantity and DR tier, each with a View Details link. You can collapse the row again by clicking the arrow a second time. Viewing a Service Category Page Clicking View Details on any individual package opens the full category page for that service, with the selected package pre-highlighted so you can proceed directly. Each category page includes: A description of the service type. All available packages listed with their DR tier badge, number of links, and price per link or per month. A Send Enquiry button on each package to submit an enquiry for that specific option. A Frequently Asked Questions section on the right side of the page, with expandable answers covering common questions about that service type. You can return to the main Services page at any time by clicking Back to Services at the top of the category page. Project Services Project services are one-time packages. The following categories are available: Link Insertions High DR niche edits Contextual backlinks inserted into existing content on established, high-authority websites. It is divided into three sections: ✓ Active Services Shows any services that are currently live and running on your account, such as an active Managed Link Building retainer. If no services are currently active, this section displays No active services yet. ◷ Requested Services Shows any open enquiries you have submitted that are awaiting a response from the LinkPanda team. Once the team has reviewed your enquiry and confirmed the service, it will move to Active Services. If there are no pending enquiries, this section displays No open enquiries at the moment. ✓ Completed Services Shows services that have been fully delivered and closed out. Each completed entry shows the service name, the specific package that was purchased, and a Completed badge. For example, a completed Managed Link Building retainer at the Authority Core (10 Links) tier, or a completed Local Citations package, will both appear here for your records. Sending an Enquiry Every service and individual package has a Send Enquiry button. Clicking it sends a request to the LinkPanda team, who will follow up via your account email with pricing confirmation and next steps. Use enquiries for standard packages or for custom requirements that fall outside the listed options. Tip: If you are unsure which plan is right for your campaign, send an enquiry on any service page and describe your goals. Your account manager can recommend the most suitable package based on your domain, niche, and target DR range. Need Help?
